Can my property manager pay my bills?

Your residential property manager can pay bills on your behalf from your rental income.

Ensure you ask the relevant companies to direct any regular invoices to your Property Manager e.g. owner’s corporation fees, water and council rates and landlord insurance.

At the end of the financial year all expenses paid will be outlined in your end of financial year statement that will be emailed or posted to you and your accountant. This will assist both you and your accountant at tax time and you’ll be able to claim any money spent on the property accordingly.
